This page is about us and why we have decided to build this website on Boracay, Philippines.

On our website, we provide you with the most current information on Boracay Philippines so that you can have the best holidays in this tropical island paradise.

We also pass on to you, whenever we can, important tips and advice which, hopefully, will help make your vacation there as pleasant and as trouble-free as possible.

Marlene & Eduardo

We're both originally from the Philippines, but now live in Cherrybrook, Australia -- a small suburb around 30 km northwest of Sydney.

Although it's been a while since we last visited Boracay, but the memories we cherish of our brief stay there are still with us as fresh as if it were only yesterday!

We're looking forward to going back there — hopefully soon and maybe we can stay there longer than last time (sigh)....

Our Boracay Trip

We visited Boracay in July 2003.

We didn't really know much about the place then, except from what we read in the holiday brochures we picked up from the travel agency.

We now feel that we could have enjoyed our vacation more if we only had access to valuable information before we left home for Boracay.

That's how we came up with the idea of setting up this website.

We'd like to share with you our passion for travel, our experience in Boracay and those of other travelers too, which we picked up from our research.

Hopefully, we can pass on to you some useful tips and probably some helpful advice as well.

Sirenna (Jen Freeman)

We would also like to thank Sirenna for her kindheartedness. Sirenna is a local resident of Boracay, originally from the U.K.

She went to Boracay in 1998 to visit some friends, but later decided to stay there for good!

Sirenna so graciously allowed us to reproduce many of the tips and photos on Boracay, without which we could not have made this website.
