The problem is: you want to have a good time, but on a limited travel budget, you want to stretch it to the maximum. But how do you get good value accommodations in Boracay?

We had the occasion to ask one of the travelers to Boracay, Maimai, about her views and personal preferences when it came to selecting affordable Boracay hotels.

Maimai and her husband, Podit, are frequent travelers not only in the Philippines, but also overseas. They have traveled to Boracay a few times with their family.

I am a very budget-conscious person (just ask Podit!).

But aside from affordability, I look for good location (beachfront) and require really clean rooms and bathrooms.

I prefer the hotels situated in Station 1 or those between Stations 1 and 2. I believe that this area is the best part of the beach. Here is a my list of favorites.

I've actually only stayed in True Home Hotel and Bans Beach Resort. But I want to try the other hotels on my list in my future visits.
