Bat Caves and the Endangered Flying Fox

Flying Fox – the Endangered Boracay Bat

Barangay Yapak in the northern part of Boracay Island is home to special breed of bats known as the flying fox.

They acquired this name due to the similarity in looks these bats have with the cunning fox.

You have to go and see them now because if the conservationists lose out to the poachers, there won't be any more of these rare creatures left in a few years time.
