Management's Comments

We are here to cater to your needs while you spoil yourself in the beauty of Boracay. English, Tagalog and of course Boracay hospitality are spoken for your convenience.

After your visit to Boracay, it will be easy to believe what is often said, that Boracay is a paradise. It is located at the northwestern tip of Panay, Aklan Province in the Philippines.

Find out for yourself why Boracay was voted as having one of the best beaches in the world by the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook. Or why The British Publication TV Quick said that Boracay has the number one tropical beach in the world. Boracay is beautiful, with one of the finest Asian beaches.

The White Beach may be why most venture to Boracay, but your recreational and entertainment activities don't stop there. Boracay has many other water sports attractions awaiting you — including beach volleyball, boating, scuba diving, kiteboarding, windsurfing and snorkeling.

You can also enjoy motor biking, mountain biking, hiking, trekking, spa, massage (in your own room if you wish), Boracay golf and of course, my favorite, plain lazing around. There is something for everyone including honeymooning couples, families, friends and even company vacationers.

Allow us to assist you in arranging your activities at the best possible rates we can find. Even catch up on your reading with our guests' free book exchange. Over 350 titles to choose from.

Boracay has so much to offer, not just for newlyweds, but for everyone. While enjoying all of it, allow us to complement your day by taking care of your needs when you come back after a long day or night to your home away from home. We offer an environment that allows you to just kick back and relax after your day on the island.

Comments From a Local Resident

Sirenna's comments (updated on Jun 14, 2006, in VirtualTourist)

Despite being a relatively new establishment, Daves Straw Hat Inn has already earned itself a glowing reputation for providing reasonably priced accommodation at a very high standard. Depending on the room-rate, facilities can include hot and cold water, telephone, private security box, air-con or fan and cable TV, and the Inn offers free use of their outdoor cooking facilities. Guests also have access to the internet.

Unique Qualities:
Dave's are already well known for looking after their guests like members of the family - the resort is small and cosy, and this gives it a friendly, personal feel. Although it is not actually situated on the beach front, it's less than a minute's walk away, in a good location. The cottages are attractive, and set in a pretty garden.
