Getaway To A Place Called Wonderland

Last February 2011 we went to Boracay via Aklan Airport, arriving at exactly 8:00pm at Caticlan Ferry terminal.

The problem that came to our mind was that we didn't have any reservation with any hotel along the beautiful island of Boracay.

As a first timer, the first thing that came to our mind was to ask somebody who could help us locate a clean, safe and money's worth resort hotel where we could stay for 3 days.

After about an hour of finding, searching and long walking from Station 1 to station 3, we found a place that was close to the Police station (safe), which was also within walking distance to the white sand beach.

We knew that this was the right location to start finding the right place to stay. "ALICE IN WONDERLAND" - what a nice name!

We approached the Security in charge and asked him if we could stay there that night. He called on the phone and, after a few minutes politely checked us in. The following day we were amazed by the place because of its solemnity and beautiful garden. There were two female staff at the bar counter and the security guard who greeted and welcomed us a good morning.

That's what I think I can call a very pleasant vacation get away not only in Boracay but also in the place we stayed.

We are planning to go back there in February 2012 and this time I will bring my family with me to experience what I call "Getaway To A Place Called Wonderland."
