Our First Diving Trip

Hi

My name is Fran and my parter is Robert. We visited Boracay for the first time and wow, we will be back.

Lovely white sands and clean clear water, it just shouted out to us to come on in and get wet so we did and loved it.

As we sat having coffee we saw a man with a divers shirt on and asked him what it was like to dive and his reply was go and see my instructor.

He is great and when I told him I was frightened of going underwater he assured me his instructor could solve that fear.

So off we went and met this instructor whose name was Ken -- a nice man, very polite.

After he explained everything that we would do on the first dive I was already feeling at ease. The next day we met up and Ken took us into the water for the first time.

I thought I would be really afraid but after he told us all about what we were going to do and the way he put it was just so calming.

Anyway we went under and when we did the things he showed us and went on to the boat I was getting really excited. And wow when we went in from the boat and went down to the fish it was just the best feeling I ever had!

We were there for ages and we saw so much things from little slugs to big fishes and well the rest is just history. Well, not quite history -- the future as we were trained by Ken to be open water divers.

We have already booked to go back in April so he can train us in the advanced diver course which we are both so looking forward to.

It's so cool if he reads this or anyone sees him just shout yeeha and he will give you a great time. I can only say a great big thanks to Boracay for allowing us into paradise and also to Ken for looking after us so well in and out of the water.

Ken told us where we could get anything that we needed. I must say that if all instructors are like him we are going to enjoy being divers.
