Enjoy Your Vacation in Paradise by Swimming or Snorkeling in Boracay's Crystal Clear Waters
Swimming & Snorkeling in Boracay
Swimming or Snorkeling: Relaxation Plus a Bit of FunTravelers visit Boracay for one or more of the following reasons, i.e. to: - Witness or participate in the various exciting sports like windsurfing, scuba diving, kiteboarding, sport fishing, parasailing, ultimate frisbee, golf or even tennis,
- Revel in the festive merrymaking of the Yuletide season or the Easter break,
- Experience unique and unusual events like the Ati-Atihan Festival or the Boracay International Funboard Cup not available elsewhere,
- Cruise on the Tamarind yacht for a once-in-a-lifetime experience,
- Join Capt. Joey island-hopping on his Red Pirate ship paraw boat,
- Go sightseeing and enjoy the natural wonders of Boracay such as the Flying Fox bat caves, the glittering shells at Puka Beach, or the outstanding collection of butterflies and native plants at the Boracay Butterfly Garden.
However, there's another reason why tourists from all over the world flock to Boracay, making it one of the Ten Top Beaches in the world: mainly to relax and be part of the peace and serenity in its natural setting. Swimming or snorkeling in Boracay's lovely chest-deep white-sand beaches or nearby reefs is the best way of unwinding from the stressful environment of modern-day living. And, after a day's lazing in the sun is over, witness the spectacular beauty of Boracay's sunsets while having a massage on the beach. If this is not life in Paradise, then what is? Off the Beaten Path: Caves Swim in this lovely cave at Punta Bunga beach, towards the northern end of the island. Rent a sailing boat to take you there. It's usually peaceful on this beach, especially later in the afternoon.
Barazula Beach This is a tiny little beach at the South end of the island. Not usually frequented by daytrippers, Barazula Beach a nice place to go for a picnic. There are no bars, restaurants or facilities there - even the little hut in the picture doesn't exist any more. Bring everything you need, and be sure to take all your trash home with you. There is some pretty good snorkeling in this area too.Take a sailing boat from Angol - contact Red Pirates, Angol, near station 3.
