Boracay Activities
It all boils down to our personal preferences and temperament.
We can watch or participate in adrenalin sports or join our fellow vacationers in some social activities.
We can also enjoy doing nothing and just basking in the sunshine or watching in awe as the the breath-taking sunsets unfold.
Let's start off with island hopping.
Paraw Sailing With the Red Pirates
A familiar sight in Boracay is the red pirates sailboat owned by Captain Joey.
The Red Pirates Tours on Captain Joey's paraw sailboat is most definitely the best way to explore Boracay — in style.
You can hire his services to go sightseeing around the coast of Boracay and beyond.
Kitesurfing | Kiteboarding: Adrenalin Sport
According to a recent BBC News Report, Boracay is the perfect setting for kitesurfing or kiteboarding, the fastest growing adrenalin sport on the planet.
Perfect wind conditions and waist-deep water up to 3 km from the shore in Bulabog Beach makes it the ideal place to learn the sport.

Scuba Diving for the Adventurous
Scuba diving in Boracay has become one of the most popular water sports in this tropical island paradise due to the abundance and variety of dive spots and exotic marine life among the various Boracay islands.
There are currently eighteen first class diving schools in Boracay, which makes this famous holiday destination, one of the most popular scuba diving areas in Southeast Asia.
A Game of Beach Frisbee
You can be forgiven for thinking that merely taking turns throwing and catching a flying disc is child's play.
The sport of Ultimate Frisbee when played on the beach can be both recreational and competitive and Boracay's White Beach is the ideal place for both.

Attending the Local Fiesta
If you are visitor other than a Filipino or an expatriate Filipino, you would be missing a lot on your vacation if you fail to include in your travel itinerary, attending the local fiesta in Boracay.
Even if you've been to a local fiesta before, but have been away from the Philippines for so long, then it's time to rekindle old memories again.
The Patron Saint of Boracay is the Santo Niño or the Holy Infant Jesus. Boracay residents also hold an annual Ati-Atihan Festival in honor of the Feast of their patron saint, similar to what they have in nearby Kalibo, Aklan.
The opportunity to experience the traditional celebration complete with Filipino native food delicacies like the lechon is once-in-a-lifetime experience that is not to be missed!
Windsurfing
Starting in December until early March, the northeast monsoon crosses Boracay on its way to Australia.
This period is most favorable to windsurfers and they congregate at Bulabog Beach on the eastern side of Boracay Island to hone their skills.
This is also the time of the year when the Asian Windsurfing Tour sponsors a popular competition known as, the Boracay International Funboard Cup.
Windsurfers coming from five countries in Asia vie for top honors in this annual event.
Relaxing Things to Do: Massage at Sundown
After a day full of activity, especially on your very first day in Boracay, your muscles are probably aching and your body has just had enough.
Masseurs and masseuses abound in Boracay.
They know that there isn't a better way to unwind for the day in Boracay than to have a massage on the beach while viewing the magnificent sunset!

Swimming or Wading at the Beach
Arguably the most popular activities in Boracay are swimming and snorkeling.
There are quite a few white sand beaches to choose from.
The most popular, however, is the world-famous 4km stretch of white sand called simply as White Beach.
You can swim. You can wade in knee-deep waters. Or, you can just laze and bask under the sun all day long.
But remember to be liberal with your sunscreen.
The tropical sun in Boracay can be harsh on your skin &mdash more so if you have delicate or sensitive, fair skin.
Kayaking
With a little bit of experience and courage, kayaking can be a lot of fun.
The rowing motion is not only good exercise for your upper body, but it can also develop balance and coordination.
A kayak is similar to a canoe except that unlike a canoe, the kayak has a closed cockpit.
Kayakers also sit on the bottom of the boat with their legs extended and row with a two blade paddle alternating on each side of the kayak.

Sport Fishing
Although Boracay is not well known as a fisherman's paradise, there are quite a few places around the island where fishing can be entertaining and fun.
You just need to know how to find these nooks. For starters, you can consult Capt Joey of the Red Pirates Pub.
He can give you valuable advice.
If you like, you can hire his Red Pirates Paraw Boat and he can take you where the fish are biting. Capt Joey knows his way around every corner of Boracay Island.
